Marvelous novel! The plot is admirable!

I am really enjoying the series and would love to read the book in English. From what I can determine the English language rights, among others, are available but have not been arranged yet, see:
https://frankfurtrights.com/Books/Det… I believe that individual publishers bid for these rights based on testimonials etc. I have noticed in the past that the UK tends to get certain rights much faster than the States or Canada as I can obtain paperbacks of certain books (e.g. Game of Thrones, A Dance

I would like this book in English. I have checked numerous websites.

I started reading this book after watching the show. Once I found out it was based on a book and that the book was not available in an English translation I knew I had to read it. For some reason that always seems to hook me in and I definitely enjoyed the mental exercise of practicing my Spanish. In fact I think this book was extra challenging because previously I have mostly read YA level books and this book used more antiquated language. It was also great because it used the formal form of “y

By far the best book I have ever read and I am 61 and don´t even like romance novels!
The dishes are described in a way it makes you hungry and the gentle romance made me well up (not common for me) at times and you go through emotions like anger and sorrow too.
I love how every character gets their own chapters so it is not confusing who is who, and they are properly developed. The buildings, streets and landscapes are painted in your mind. It makes me want to visit!

It’s not easy to formulate my thoughts about this book. It turned out not to be what I expected and what I usually read. So it’s hard to evaluate it objectively.
At first it felt too descriptive (and I couldn’t care less about all the foods Clara prepared; Spanish is not my first language and I didn’t even bother trying to translate). At first I wasn’t much into getting full background stories and POV of seemingly every character, but with time that’s what got me through the book. It made all ch

Wonderful book. I watched the Netflix series first and enjoyed them, but this book was so superior, by far. The writing is superb, the characters are well developed and the chapters are fascinating, sometimes I would loose myself reading and almost 100 pages would have gone by. 5 out of 5 ⭐👏

Excellent book, not my cup of tea but a very intriguing story. I’ve read the book translated in Portuguese and I must say I liked it very much! A lot of new vocabulary not so usually used. It is a romance, but a good one.

The story is good, but drags a little with repetition of the couples and the regrets they have. Finally the action picks up and the ending with the couple getting merrier and happy.

Belinda Schön

I just loved reading this book. All the characters had so much depth, the romance was top tier and the writing was great. Cannot wait to watch the show.

Roxana

I liked the story but not the style. I mean… there were like a million details that were, for me, completely irrelevant and made the story boring.

Fernanda

Excellent development of secondary characters!
